How we handle reports We confirm your report within 2 business days and may ask for more details. If the report is valid, or the page is clearly harmful, we disable or edit the page. The card then stops opening it. We tell the page owner. For copyright, they can send a counter-notice, and we may restore the page 10 to 14 business days later unless you tell us you've filed a lawsuit. We close the pages of people who repeatedly infringe. Knowingly false reports can make the sender liable for damages, including under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
